SEVEN WASTED MEN

Recycled sculptures.  Seven life-size figures made out of scrap wood and household waste.

These were commissioned by Cambridgeshire County Council in March 2006, as part of their Waste Reduction Campaign. They represent the fact that according to recent statistics we each produce seven times our own body weight each year in waste.  Each one is created to the actual dimensions and with the physical characteristics of a real person, and Michelle used three weeks' worth of each person's own rubbish to make them.
