Tree sculpture for BPR Group

This cherry tree sculpture was a commission for BPR Group, an environmental solutions company based in London and the South East.

Waste materials were collected from the company's materials recovery facility in Purfleet, and included plastic bottles, food waste caddies, baling wire, electrical cable, aluminium cans and a broken office chair.  After contructing the trunk and branches, the leaves, flowers and some of the bark were added over two days at the Facilities Show (Excel Centre, London).  A competition was run during the event to guess how many plastic bottles would be used to complete the sculpture.
