Over three years from 2014 to 2016 I created a series of themed 'Art Play' exhibitions: Dinosaur Raah, Beep Beep and Tweet Tweet, themed around dinosaurs, transport and wildlife respectively.  These were interactive exhibitions for children which I designed and created through workshops with children and families at Orlean House Gallery.  Interactive aspects of the exhibitions included a cutout play bus, a steam train complete with coal to shovel into the boiler, a dinosaur ribcage reading den, a boat on a river with a magnetic fishing game and a road play mat with hand-made wooden cars.  Various groups were involved in creating the show, including schools, after school clubs, children's centres and families.  Each exhibition also involved a design competition with entries displayed as part of the exhibition.  For Beep Beep children were asked to design a sustainable form of transport, and Michelle ran a workshop with the winning school, Unicorn school in Richmond, to create a sculpture of the winning design, a bike with a solar umbrella and rain collector which could water plants as it goes along.
